Hurt Traps
Coach: Start taking away the hurt traps laid around you disguised as expectations. There’s a trust giving to life to be able to do that. Let your heart lead you in life instead of your mind. Sometimes the heart may hurt small bursts at a time and it’s a lot because it’s all happening at once during that small burst but that’s 100x better than the gradual slowly increasing pain we go through by letting our mind guide us.
Student: Shouldn’t there be a balance? Between the heart and the mind ?
Coach: It depends on how we use our mind. That balance shifts between closer to the heart and in the middle between heart and mind. Our mind is not always to be trusted. In those moments where the mind needs help, go to the heart.
